Praise the Lord Beloved. You know, we have confused aggression with anointing. We mistake a loud voice for a strong spirit. But spiritual abuse is not spiritual authority. We find The Greek Truth in 1st Peter 5:3, the Apostle warns leaders against being "domineering" over those in their charge. The Greek word used here is Katakurieuo (κατακυριεύω).

  • It means "to lord it over."

  • It means to exercise total, crushing dominion.

  • It means to control someone else's will.

Peter forbids this. Why? Because in verse 4 it tells us the sheep don’t belong to the shepherd; they belong to the Chief Shepherd.

Beloved, a bully rules through fear.

A shepherd feeds with truth.

If you have to break the sheep to lead them, you aren't shepherding them—you’re hunting them.

Have a blessed Sunday Everyone.
